如果求职是一场没有硝烟的战争,求职者和HR就是这场战争中对立的双方,隔着小小的面试桌你来我往,短兵相接。而关于求职者和HR之间的话题,也是说不完的:随便登陆一个求职论坛,对面试遭遇冷落、不合理对待的吐槽比比皆是;随便上网搜索,HR们对求职者答应了面试却由于各种“雷人”理由随便爽约的抱怨也屡见不鲜,求职者和HR就好像无法调和的矛盾共同体,互相看不惯,却又互相离不开。
HR一盆冷水泼走了心仪工作
近日,网友倪明在网上发帖,希望HR至少能给求职者一些基本的尊重。原来,几天前倪明接到了心仪已久公司的面试电话,心情激动的他为了这次面试做了万全的准备,重新整理了简历,预先练习了可能遇到的问题,甚至还特意找了件名牌衬衫,希望能在面试中能有出色表现。
可是,却没想到第二天的面试从开始就不顺利:怕迟到的倪明提前10分钟赶到面试地点,却遭遇HR迟到;在苦苦等待半个多小时后,又被美女招聘经理冷冰冰的态度“冻”住,面谈的过程中,又被各种否定:什么简历不出彩啦,个人能力不突出啦,没有带团队的经验啦!更别提结束面试后,连基本的送客礼仪都没有,就把他独自丢在会议室,结果自是不必说,倪明没得到这份心仪的工作。
对于这次应聘经历,倪明是窝了一肚子火,有苦说不出:简历不出彩,那当初是怎么挑中了我这个“不出彩”的应聘者去面试呢?既然通知我来面试,为什么又要百般刁难呢?就算是所谓的压力面试,也不应该戳人痛处专门找茬吧?总要给求职者起码的尊重。像他这样有着五六年工作
经历的人,都被这样的面试折腾得乱了方寸,更别提刚毕业的求职者了,遭遇这样一位面试官,怎么可能发挥正常,求职成功呢?更何况,HR也可以算是公司的招牌,这样一家原本品牌知名度美誉度都不错的企业,就这样被一名HR毁了形象。
倪明认为,企业不尊重求职者,就永远不会招到有用的人才,就算招到了也留不住。
倪明的观点引来众多的支持者,网友纷纷晒出自己的求职遭遇:迟到、对求职者爱理不理、挑三拣四、喜欢戳人痛处、专业素质差、面试过程敷衍了事……“面试冷暴力”表现虽然不尽相同,但都会让求职者对自己产生不被尊重的感觉,于是有求职者在发出“我是找工作,不是乞讨工作的”呼声。
更令人惊讶的是,在吐槽面试曾遭遇“冷暴力”的网友中,居然也不乏各位活跃的人力资源从业者的声音。这些HR们纷纷表示,虽然自己是人力资源管理工作者,但也有求职被面试的经历,也曾有过和倪明相同或类似的经历。
不过,HR们看到遭遇极品面试的`经历显然要比倪明淡定许多,因为,人都是千奇百怪的人,HR也是千奇百怪的HR.目前没有一家公司或企业敢说自己的管理是完美无缺的,也无法保证每家公司的面试官都那么专业,所以求职者可能会在面试过程中遇到各种各样的情况也在所难免。遭遇“面试冷暴力”也就不是什么新鲜事了,关键是求职者自己要调整心态,相信自己有能力去获得一份新工作。
求职者“消极面试”让我很受伤
对于倪明的抱怨,也有部分网友提出不同意见。在看了倪明的帖子后,网友崔景秀发了个反驳贴,他认为,如果单从工作的角度出发,那天面试倪明的HR流程上并没有错误,从求职简历到工作经验的“挑剔、质疑”原本就是面试官该做的事儿。也就是说,人家的专业素质是过关的,凭什么对人家要求这要求那的呢?面试官就是负责做招聘的,就是要在源头把好人才关,几经考核才能认定人才究竟是不是适合企业需求的。再说了,HR又不是卖笑,难道还有义务要哄求职者高兴么?
崔景秀觉得,目前很多求职者在找工作的过程中,心态不对,总把自己放在受害者的弱势地位。一旦求职失败了,部分求职者不是从自己身上寻找原因,而是推到HR身上,抱怨面试官的挑剔与严苛。往往这部分求职者在网上论坛发帖求助时,会博取不少人的同情分。但实际上,作为一名职场人士而言,这种做法是很可笑的。人在职场,总是会遇到很多不顺心的事情的,要学会面对挫折,要学会在失败中寻找原因,吸取教训,力求下次马到成功。
更何况,求职者要求面试官尊重自己,自己又给了面试官多少尊重呢?不细看岗位要求不管自己适合与否,“海投”简历;好不容易HR协调好求职者和面试官的会见时间,却又随意爽约。这样的“消极面试”不但增加了HR的工作量,也是对HR的不尊重,对自己的不尊重,更是对工作不尊重。
求职者面试爽约的问题,也一直是被HR们广泛关注和讨论的焦点问题,此前论坛上就曾有网友讨论过各种“雷人”的面试爽约理由:路太远、天太热、不想出门、临时有事、迷路了、忘记了、失恋了没心情、丢了面试单、妈妈觉得工作不适合我……求职者“放鸽子”的理由千奇百怪,就算因为种种原因无法前往面试,至少也该回个电话礼貌性的婉拒面试邀约吧?更有很多求职者甚至连招呼都不打,直到过了约定时间,HR打电话询问时才匆忙搪塞,更有许多甚至连电话都打不通了。无怪乎这些HR们也会郁闷、抓狂。 有相关调查显示,现阶段HR的平均邀约成功率仅为3成左右,而且很多求职者对自身的定位并不是很明确,薪水、职位要求过高等现象也很多。一边是优秀人才难寻,公司对招聘效果不满意,一边是求职者抱怨HR不给自己机会,得不到尊重,HR的工作就像夹心饼干,有苦难言。
换位思考,相互理解
关于求职者和HR之间的矛盾,往往都是公说公有理,婆说婆有理,很难简单做出判定。论坛近期利用微博进行了一次投票,有31%的投票者选择支持求职者,HR的态度会影响面试,有12.2%的投票者表示自己经常被HR鄙视已经习惯了,分别有2.7%和1.4%的投票者认为HR没义务哄求职者开心以及已经被误解习惯了,剩余52.7%的投票者均认为其实双方各有各的委屈,互相尊重就好了。从投票结果来看,大多数人更倾向于以相互尊重解决问题。
一个巴掌拍不响。矛盾之所以出现,肯定是由求职者和HR双方的因素造成。求职者不理解HR,HR不理解求职者,让双方因此产生了不少误解。如果HR和求职者这两大群体,能够将心比心,大家相互理解,相互体谅,退一步也能海阔天空。
HR是企业给求职者的第一印象,如果HR能够给求职者留下好印象,求职者也会对企业有好印象,这样无论最终面试结果成功与否,起码不会因此影响到企业的声誉。而如果HR在接待求职者面试时能多一点关心,多一点帮助,会让求职者心里感觉更舒服,发挥也会更出色。与此同时,求职者在面对HR时,保持应有的职场礼仪,不卑不亢,充分展示自己的优势与特长。哪怕最后没有成为同事,相信HR也会对你刮目相看,将求职者的简历纳入公司人才库。山不转水转,说不定哪一天,换家公司面试官和求职者还有可能成为同事呢!
一般而言,面试官的形象代表着一个企业的形象,而面试官的形象和职业素养很大程度上决定着一个求职者对公司的第一印象。因此,HR在面试的时候应尽量做到态度和蔼、平易近人,这样可以使求职者放松紧张心情,尽可能完善、准确的表现自己的能力。同时要注意倾听,多听少说,并注意引导,而不是批评、指责,更不应该当面发表定义性的语言。
对于求职者来说,首先要摆正的是心态,在投递简历之前,应该对自己有较为全面的分析和规划,找准目标和定位,然后有针对的制作和投递简历,看准任职要求,这样不仅能够节省HR的时间,获得面试机会的可能性也更大。而在和HR约定面试时,一定要根据自己的实际情况和近期的日程安排,给予明确答复,并详细记录公司地址、面试时间及联系电话,如果时间安排比较紧,可以和HR商量另约时间,而不是盲目应承。一旦约定了时间,就要准时赴约,如果真有临时情况发生,最好能提前通知到HR,避免对方空等,也方便对方另作安排。
而HR如果能在面试通知中提供更多企业信息、面试职位信息,而不仅是简单通知时间地点,有助于求职者当时判断个人对企业及职位的兴趣度及匹配度,决定是否接受面试邀约,而主动询问求职者的住所估算路程远近,提供岗位最高薪资标准并按照求职者的反映判断面试邀约的成功几率等,也是一些简单易用的小技巧。最重要的是,求职者会在这种信息交流的过程中感受到被尊重和被重视,大多数的求职者也会回馈给HR同等的尊重和重视。
生活就像一面镜子,你对它微笑,它便对你微笑。不论是在工作中还是生活中,压力和误解总会束缚人的脚步,学会微笑去面对,学会换位思考,求职者和HR相互理解,相互宽容,求职和招聘艰难的现状一定会有所改善的。
