My name is Emily and I am in the 8th grade. I am excited to introduce myself to all of you today. I have been studying at this school for three years now and I have had a wonderful experience so far.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about my family. I have a small family with my parents and my younger brother. My father is a businessman and my mother is a teacher. They have always encouraged me to work hard and pursue my dreams. My brother is in the 5th grade and we have a lot of fun together.
In terms of my hobbies and interests, I have a few things that I really enjoy doing. Firstly, I love reading books. I am a big fan of fiction and fantasy novels. Whenever I have free time, I can be found curled up with a good book. Reading not only helps me relax, but it also improves my vocabulary and writing skills. Secondly, I am passionate about playing the piano. I have been taking piano lessons for five years now and I enjoy playing classical pieces. It gives me a sense of calmness and allows me to express my emotions. Lastly, I love playing basketball. I am a member of the school's basketball team and I enjoy the teamwork and physical activity that comes with it.
Academically, I strive to do my best in all subjects. My favorite subject is English because I find it fascinating to learn about different cultures and improve my language skills. I am also interested in science, especially biology, as I find the study of living organisms very intriguing. I hope to pursue a career in the medical field in the future.
In terms of my personal qualities, I consider myself to be a responsible and organized individual. I always complete my homework on time and take my responsibilities seriously. I am also a good listener and a dependable friend. I enjoy helping others and being there for them when they need support.
I am really looking forward to this school year and all the opportunities it will bring. I am excited to meet new people, learn new things, and continue to grow both academically and personally. Thank you for giving me the chance to introduce myself.
