Hello everyone,
My name is Emily and I am a new freshman here at this school. I am really excited to be here and to have the opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.
First of all, let me tell you a little bit about my background. I was born and raised in a small town in the countryside. Growing up, I had a very close-knit family and they have been my biggest support system. I have one older brother who is currently in college and he has always been my role model. He has encouraged me to work hard and pursue my dreams, which is exactly what I plan to do here at this school.
In terms of my academic interests, I have always been passionate about science. I find it fascinating to learn about the world around us and how things work. I hope to major in biology or chemistry in the future and maybe even pursue a career in research or medicine. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the piano and painting. These activities help me relax and express my creativity.
I am really looking forward to being a part of the school's community and getting involved in various extracurricular activities. I believe that participating in clubs and organizations is a great way to meet new people and develop new skills. I am particularly interested in joining the science club and the art club. These clubs align with my interests and I believe they will provide me with opportunities to further explore my passions.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the teachers and staff members who have helped me during the orientation week. Your guidance and support have made my transition to high school much smoother. I am eager to start this new chapter of my life and I am confident that with your help, I will be able to achieve great things.

I have always been an avid reader and I believe that books have the power to expand our horizons and shape our perspectives. Some of my favorite authors include J.K. Rowling, George Orwell, and Harper Lee. Reading has not only improved my English skills, but it has also taught me valuable life lessons and helped me develop empathy towards others.
Besides reading, I am also passionate about sports. I have been playing basketball since I was a child and I have been a part of my school's team for the past few years. Playing sports has taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. It has also helped me build strong friendships and stay physically fit.
