Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I am excited to be here today to introduce myself as a new seventh grade student. Starting a new school can be nerve-wracking, but I believe that it is also an opportunity for personal growth and making new friends.
I was born and raised in a small town called Oakville. It is a peaceful place with friendly neighbors and beautiful scenery. The decision to move to this city and attend this school was not an easy one, but I am confident that it is the right choice for me.
In my previous school, I was always an active student. I participated in various extracurricular activities such as basketball, choir, and debate club. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and perseverance. I hope to bring these skills with me to this new school and continue to be an engaged and involved student.
One of my biggest passions is reading. I am a bookworm and can often be found with my nose buried in a novel. Reading allows me to escape into different worlds, broaden my imagination, and learn about different cultures and perspectives. Besides reading, I also enjoy playing the piano. I have been taking lessons since I was six years old and it has become an integral part of my life.
