His bronze face was covered with wrinkles and turbid eyes, and he could see that he was weather beaten. The stiff nose is blue and purple by the cold wind, and the dark purple lips are full of wounds. This is the old shoe mender who sits at the corner of the wall in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Every time I meet the old man mending shoes, I secretly laugh in my heart. It's the time. Who mends shoes! What a fool he is! But that winter evening, on the way home from the interest class, I found a big hole in the sole of my shoe, and the piercing cold wind went straight to the sole of my foot. I was shivering with cold, "cold from the foot", and I had a long way to go from home. I looked around helplessly and saw him again. I hesitated for a moment, but decided to mend my shoes. I sat down on his little bench and handed him the shoes. He looked up at me with a deep look. He took the tools out of the old toolbox and sewed them up. I looked at him. The old man who mended his shoes was as thin as a reed pole, wearing only a jacket. I felt the tip of my nose and it was cold. Isn't the weak old man cold? "All right." The old man returned the shoes to me. I saw that the old ma
n's hand was covered with bandages, which made people look distressed. I put on my shoes and thought: how much money does it cost to mend shoes? He said, "you go." I asked in surprise, "you haven't received the money yet!" He smiled bitterly and shook his head and said, "the old man is not short of money. He is just an old man. He always wants to do something good at the end of his life and do his best for the motherland." I was stunned, an old man for the public, can bear the pain of the cold wind, but do not ask for a little reward, my eyes a hot left 20 yuan to run, what a good old man! Selfless dedication to society, I would like to pay tribute to him! I will never forget this matter. The spirit of the old man will remain in my heart forever.
