英语三分钟演讲稿 篇二:The Benefits of Volunteering
Ladies and gentlemen,
Good morning! Today, I am here to talk about the benefits of volunteering.
Volunteering is the act of helping others without expecting anything in return. It is an activity that benefits both the recipient and the volunteer. When we volunteer, we not only make a positive impact on the lives of others but also experience personal growth and fulfillment.
Firstly, volunteering allows us to make a difference in our community. By offering our time and skills, we can contribute to the well-being of those in need. Whether it is helping at a local shelter, tutoring underprivileged children, or participating in environmental clean-up activities, every act of volunteering counts. Through these actions, we can create a positive change in society and inspire others to do the same.
Secondly, volunteering provides us with valuable learning opportunities. It allows us to gain new skills and knowledge that can be useful in various aspects of life. For example, by volunteering in a healthcare setting, we can learn about medical procedures and develop empathy and compassion. Volunteering also helps us develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, which are essential in today's professional world.
Furthermore, volunteering promotes personal growth and well-being. It gives us a sense of purpose and fulfillment, as we know that we are making a difference in the lives of others. Volunteering can also help us build a strong support network and make new friends who share similar values and interests. It provides a sense of belonging and helps combat feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Lastly, volunteering can enhance our resume and career prospects. When employers see volunteer experience on a resume, they view it as a positive attribute. It shows that we are proactive, compassionate, and committed to making a difference. Volunteering also provides opportunities for networking and skill development, which can give us an edge in the competitive job market.
In conclusion, volunteering is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It allows us to make a positive impact on our community, learn new skills, promote personal growth, and enhance our career prospects. So, let us all embrace the spirit of volunteerism and contribute to the betterment of society. Thank you!

Dear,
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, today i am so happy to stand here to give you a speech.Or rather, a real story of mine.
Though with time going by,i can still remember what you once told me.You should be a brave girl.Smiling, you looked into my eyes.Year in,year out, nearly most of my memories are fading little by little. But only this simple sentence remained, without being forgotten in my life.
Again and again,i can not stop myself from thinking about it.So ordinary, but so impressive,so moving, just like the brightest sunshine,it helps me go through the darkest night.I am such a sensitive girl in your heart. You said,my sorroful facial expression made feel so distersssed. However, there is one thing i never tell you, that is ,i am becoming a big girl gradually with your words and smiles.I never tell you about it,for i believe oneday, you can see the great changes of mine for yourself. That is what i want to do in return. As i know, that will be the best gift for you.
I suddenly think of a song named MY HEART WILL GO ON.There is a beautiful sentence going like this. You are safe in my heart.More than once,i was moved to tears by it.I know ,i am also safe in your heart.i have already forgotten when i told you i was going to leave for Australia this summer holiday. You just smiled as usual, gently speaking.Whatever you decide to do,i will be in favor of it,but, just onething, remember, when you fell lonely abroad,do not forget we are here ,praying for you.We are all around you,far across the distance and space between us.i closed my eyes, the flashback started. The memories we had together, once we played games on the palyground,we played jokes on each other, you always wrote a lot of sentences on my articles to encourage me.And the most unforgetable thing, you told me,you believed m i could be a big girl.Sooner or later.
At that specific moment,i suddenly understood the meaning of this sentence totally. So on that day,i smiled as you used to,looking at you.The last words i said were, keep walking in sunshine.
Yes,keep walking in sunshine.I said to you ,also to myself.I know i am not alone wiht your company, and we can keep walking in sunshine till the last minute of our days.

Dear,
Good afternoon!
Recently, there is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?
The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth.
Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish.
I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.

Dear,
We often hear people say, “Never give up.” These can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.
One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities.
In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give up, we have non chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one day.
Thank you !

Dear,
Think about what’s at stake. Everything you write, everything you say, every topic of curiosity, every stray thought, every impulsive purchase, every moment of frustration or weakness, every gripe or complaint, every secret shared in confidence.
In a world without digital privacy, even if you have done nothing wrong other than think differently, you begin to censor yourself. Not entirely at first. Just a little, bit by bit. To risk less, to hope less, to imagine less, to dare less, t
o create less, to try less, to talk less, to think less. The chilling effect of digital surveillance is profound, and it touches everything.
What a small, unimaginative world we would end up with. Not entirely at first. Just a little, bit by bit. Ironically, it’s the kind of environment that would have stopped Silicon Valley before it had even gotten started.
We deserve better. You deserve better.
If we believe that freedom means an environment where great ideas can take root, where they can grow and be nurtured without fear of irrational restrictions or burdens, then it’s our duty to change course, because your generation ought to have the same freedom to shape the future as the generation that came before.
Graduates, at the very least, learn from these mistakes. If you want to take credit, first, learn to take responsibility.
